With preparations for our 25th anniversary in full swing Joan Dowty decided it would be a good idea to inspect the course from the air.
Last Sunday our intrepid 85 year young student pilot took off from Long Marston, the WW2 airfield South of Stratford-on-Avon.
Joan was flying in a two seat open cockpit flexwing microlight piloted by 6x British and 3x World Microlight Champion Simon Baker.
The 50 mile round trip took 55 mins at an average height of 3,000ft.
Course Manager Andrew Halfpenny will be delighted that the course passed the aerial inspection
