Since opening in September 1991, Ombersley has become a magnet for golfers of all ages and experience.
Since those early days membership has grown tremendously, creating the vibrant daily club life in which ladies, men, seniors & juniors enjoy friendship, fun and competition.
Ombersley readily lends itself to anyone who wishes to join and be part of one of our welcoming sections. A glance at the online calendar illustrates this, with an action packed year ahead featuring over 450 different events of all types.
Membership at Ombersley offers great value for money. One major advantage is that, on average, the course only closes due to bad weather for less than three days a year. This means there is virtually no disruption to play, giving you the greatest flexibility available anywhere.
Organized golf extends from friendly golf evenings, mixed and social events for those who want to meet other members. through to the more formal events. These include a wide range of the Club’s own weekly and monthly medals and competitions through to inter club matches.
We are a fully inclusive golf club and we are a registered signatory of the Women in Golf Charter, which aims to create a more inclusive culture, in which women and girls can thrive in the game of golf. Our certificate can be viewed here and the full document can be viewed here.
