How do I…
Here are some of the questions we’re often asked about membership at Ombersley on this page. If there’s anything else you’d like to know, however small, please don’t hesitate to drop in or call us on 01905 620747 during daylight hours.
How can I pay via direct debit?
Don’t worry, the process is all paperless. Its quite simple. We use GoCardless for this process.
Please use this link to set your direct debit up. It is all very safe and secure.
You and the club will then receive an email to confirm that a direct debit has been set up.
Each month you will receive an email from GoCardless advising of the next payment due.
It’s all very confusing. Can someone sit down with me and work out my best option?
The simple answer…YES! Come in for a no obligation chat with a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate and let our General Manager, Graham, or Assistant Manager, Jordan, help you find the best value for money. Call us on 01905 620747 or email us here to arrange to pop in at your convenience.
Can I build a membership around my lifestyle?
Absolutely! At Ombersley Golf Club, we pride ourselves on being able to offer memberships to suit almost anybody! Have a look at our membership options here, you’ll be surprised at how tailored it can be!
I am over 65, what are my options?
In our Silver membership category, as a veteran member you will pay the same monthly or annual fee, but will be offered further reduced rate green fees than those under 65 years of age. These green fees can be found here. In our Gold membership category, there are discounts applied to monthly or annual fees. These membership fees can be found here.
I want to play competitive golf. What days do competitions occur?
Our Silver, Gold and Competitive Flexible memberships allow you to keep a handicap and play in club competitions and matches. Senior’s (over 55s) competitions take place mainly on Mondays, ladies’ competitions are usually played on a Thursday with most competitions offering a weekend entry also, whilst the men’s competitions usually take place on a Saturday or Sunday, with one midweek medal each month. Am I able to change membership categories if I find mine isn’t right for me?
Absolutely! One of the team in the shop will be more than happy to help you, even carrying out a review of your membership usage and giving you options that may suit you better. Don’t be afraid to ask in the shop, the key thing is we want you to get the most out of YOUR membership.
What are the main differences between Bronze, Silver and Gold memberships?
Put simply, Gold members don’t pay a green fee when they come to play, Silver members pay a reduced green fee and Bronze members pay our “pay and play” prices. For more information on what is included in each membership category, click here.
What is the cheapest way for me to join as a competitive club member?
The cheapest monthly or annual costing membership is our Silver membership, but it may not be the cheapest option over the year if you play a lot of golf. This membership allows you to pay a reduced green fee when you come and play. Click here to find out more information, including the green fees for Silver members.
