Ombersley features a very active, fun and inclusive men’s golf section with the opportunity to play both social and competitive golf.
We welcome all abilities, from novices to current golfers migrating from other clubs.
As a new member, you’ll find integration into the club life quick and easy with new playing partners always available at our various “roll-up” times. If you’re a beginner, Ombersley is also a Get into Golf Center which ensures the chance for all to learn golf in a fun and friendly environment.

Mens social golf
New members are always welcome at our weekly ‘Roll ups’, with a guaranteed tee time and the chance to join other members in a round of sociable golf. Roll ups take place on;
- Midweek mornings from 7.30am.
- Midweek afternoons from 12.30pm.
- Saturday mornings at 8.00am (providing there is not a competition).
If you’re looking for for friendly competition, you can also take part in organised men’s section away days to other clubs across the country and play in the Captain’s Away Day.
Mens competitive golf
There is a vast array of competitive activity including:
- Captain’s singles & pairs matchplay competitions.
- Monthly competitions with weekend and midweek medals.
- Many other events with the scratch team and handicap league, plus the Mail on Sunday, the Daily Mail matches versus other clubs – all offering the chance to represent Ombersley at a wide variety of courses.
- Get invited to our annual presentation night to collect your award, see other prize winners and enjoy some delicious food and refreshing drinks
