Join the Ombersley seniors

Ombersley seniors has developed into one of the strongest sections in the club and is among the largest senior golf sections in Worcestershire.

Open to all golfers aged 55 and over, Ombersley offers the opportunity for seniors to play both social and competitive golf. All abilities are welcomed from beginners onwards.

As a new member, our ‘roll-ups’ will enable you to meet new playing partners, and there is the chance to be picked for the OGC Senior golf team and play in handicap matches versus other clubs.

Our wide range of membership options ensures we have something to suit your own playing requirements. Why not speak to our our professional staff, or our long term members? They’ll be delighted to help you in any way.

Senior social golf

Join in senior ‘Roll ups’, lunches and gatherings for a fantastic time. All members are made most welcome, with guaranteed tee times and the chance to meet new members.

Roll ups take place on:

  • Mid-week mornings from 7.30 am.
  • Mid-week afternoons from 12.30 pm.
  • Thursday mornings, when seniors can enter their names and pair up for social golf.
  • Saturday mornings at 8.00am, when Seniors are welcome to join with the men’s section.

You can also take part in organised away days by the men’s golf section to golf clubs nationwide or play in the Senior Captain’s away day.

Seniors competitive golf.

There is a vast amount of activity including:

  • Seniors Captain’s singles & pairs matchplay competitions.
  • Senior Order of merit and eclectic competitions.
  • Monthly competitions taking place with medals on a weekend and midweek.
  • Senior handicap league and friendly matches versus other clubs, all providing the opportunity to enjoy playing other courses against other teams whilst representing Ombersley Golf Club.

Seniors are able to join in with the mens competitions if they are looking to play more events on the weekend as well

Monday mornings are competition golf days for seniors .
