Our Investment continues at pace as we head towards Christmas.

As of the end of November our kitchen was all back together and in full operation. This year the kitchen has seen about £50,000 of investment. This has included a new Merrychef, new Rational Combi Oven, new Lincat gas range, new carvery units and finally a nice new purple resin floor.

The work on the greenkeepers shed continues at pace. Work started on the 8th November, starting to dig out the footings and then scrape off the top soil.  The base has been stoned ready for the concrete floor. Steel work has been erected very quickly. This week, 11th December, the concrete walls have been installed for added security. The next phase is to extend the flowerbed at the top of the car park and continue the brick wall along the edge of the shed.

Also this week, 11th December, you should see the roof go on.

The plan is by Christmas we should have a weather proof shed! All the finishing touches will probably happen in January, from fitting a new roller shutter, installing electrics and alarm fittings.

When the weather dries up groundwork will resume with extending the greenkeepers yard area.
