The refurbishment work is progressing well in the clubhouse. Now the boarding has been dismantled you are all able to see what the builders have been upto over the last month.

The wall between the Malvern Room and Abberley Room has been removed, the trophy cabinet has been removed to create the new doorway into the Abberley Room. All the rough edges have been tidied up by the plasterer. The area will be open plan for a bit until the new doors are fitted in place.

This week the old entrance into the Abberley Room has been petitioned off to create a new cupboard for the carvery units etc. The old gaming machine cupboard under the stairs is going to be turned into the new trophy cabinet.

The bar door and fire lobby has been removed. A new bar door is currently being made.

The shutter boxes above the bar are about to be removed along with the pillars along the front edge of the bar.

The new aluminium windows will be here by about the 2nd week in July and slowly fitted into place. Once the windows are insitu then the whole bar and restaurant will look totally different again.
