Celebrating Ombersley Golf Club’s 25th Anniversary

Reflecting on our 25th anniversary we have recently referred to our loyal members and staff in separate articles.

We also believe that part of our success is due to the fact that we are a local family business of 95 years standing which has certain core values which enable us to provide something unique in an ever changing world.

In the online age a lot of life’s purchases and experiences are cheaper than ever yet impersonal. We regard your leisure time as a moment when we can offer something a little more unique. We have always prided ourselves on being welcoming, friendly and approachable. We aim to offer a high level of service and to provide you with value for money and plenty of options to suit modern lifestyles.

The continuity in operation and ownership of the club along with many of the same faces lends a comfortable familiarity.

The three family members who are Directors are intrinsically involved in the business on a daily basis and are constantly monitoring everything to ensure that we are working effectively for you. If you ever have any issues you know who we are, who to approach and you know that you will get an honest answer.

The wider family stakeholders are also often on site playing golf and using the catering facilities and in “keeping their ears to the ground” they are able to provide feedback.

Our aims are long term and this is why we keep investing in the club to improve all aspects.

Whilst we do operate the golf club as a business I think everyone who has known us over the years realises that the golf club means far more to us than just a way to earn a living and we very much enjoy providing our range of services to you.
