How do I complete a scorecard?

Completed competition scorecards MUST be posted in the appropriate box in the lobby on the day of the competition. You MUST submit a card, even if you fail to complete your round.

Your card MUST carry the following information;

  • Your name
  • Date
  • Marker’s signature
  • Your correct playing handicap (Whole number)
  • Your gross scores in column ‘A’
  • The name of the competition
  • Your signature

Failure to include any of this information WILL result in disqualification. For Pairs & 4-Ball competitions, follow the same guidelines, using columns A-D. Additionally, it is also helpful to the scorers if you;

  • Include your membership number.
  • Write ONLY your gross score in column ‘A’
  • Include your Stableford points in the ‘Points’ column.
  • Correctly add up your net or Stableford score, as appropriate, and enter in the box provided.

Please take time at the end of your round to ensure your card is correctly completed and easily legible.
NB. If you enter a lower handicap, your card will be scored on the basis of the incorrect entry. If you claim too high a handicap you will be disqualified.
