The green’s staff have been shaping up the bunkers.

The bunkers began to lose some of their definition in the dry summer last year when grass growth on the bunker edges slowed up and was also smothered by blown sand
Another problem caused by this sand is the damage it does to the grinding action on the mowing units as the mowers pass over these areas. Turf has been replaced as necessary and the edges have been sharpened up to give this well defined finish which you see now.
