• Spring Is In The Air

    • The golf course is flourishing as we enter the second week of April and enjoy some warmer weather.

This Spring is bringing some spectacular blossom as you can see from the photograph showing one of our cherry trees on the course.

It is also lovely to see an abundance of wildlife. Andrew Halfpenny took this great picture of a frog which he spotted yesterday. At this time of year frogs emerge from their winter habitat and head straight to a pond to breed, so its good to know our irrigation pool has other uses. In a few weeks time we should see the little tadpoles hatching out. Its particularly nice to see these little amphibians jumping around the golf course as they are under threat due to loss of habitat and we do need to protect them.
