    • Jamie’s off to pastures NEW!

    • From spikes to wellies!
    • Assistant General Manager and PGA Golf Professional Jamie Hodges will be hanging up his spikes and putting on his wellies from now on.

After just under ten years of first-class service, Jamie is turning his hand to a new career as a residential surveyor. Jamie first joined Ombersley Golf Club in April 2010 at the age of eighteen. Playing as an amateur and with a handicap of four, Jamie set about becoming a qualified PGA Professional under the guidance of General Manager Graham Glenister. Not only did Jamie achieve his goal, he qualified with flying colours. He also continued his PGA education with studies as a Director of Golf.

Graham Glenister..."Jamie will be sadly missed. He has been a fantastic member of staff and without doubt the best assistant I have ever had supporting me. He always went the extra mile and has been self-driven from his first day to improve himself. The fact that he has trained and qualified himself in another industry says everything about his desire and enthusiasm to make the very most of himself. Far more importantly, Jamie has always been a good friend and someone I admire tremendously. I know that all the Directors’, staff and customers’ of Ombersley Golf Club will join me in wishing Jamie every success in his new career.”
