Baxter College July 2013
I would just like to say a big ‘Thank You’ for last night. Baxter College had booked a venue in Hartlebury but they let us down 2 days before the treasure hunt, your restaurant manager Rob was able to accommodate us at last minute seating over 40 people for evening meal.
The feedback from staff was unanimous, the food was outstanding as was the venue. They have also agreed that they would like to end up there next year, no matter where the treasure hunt takes them.
Please pass our thanks on to Rob and I am sure we will be in touch for future bookings.

Again we had a very successful day and everyone enjoyed themselves, even the weather was kind to us despite the forecast.

Please be good enough to pass on my sincere thanks and that of my members for the professional and most efficient way you all looked after us on this year’s Harborne RBL Golf tour day.
The course itself was an absolute joy, Having spent months underwater back home in Birmingham most of our own home course have been partially closed off on temporary greens and mats.
What a pleasure to play at Ombersley today and in such fantastic weather.
The noticeable improvements to the course and the work you did in the early years have now paid dividends. Not only was the course prepared to encourage the speed of play but our lower handicapped players were in praise of the greens which responded great to a well struck shot and although not fast were true when putting.
I thought with a front 9 of 20 points, I was in with a chance today but that was until the turn when my wheels came off.
Never the less, my members were all smiles when we came in to enjoy some more good hospitality.
Sorry we clashed with your wedding guests, we guessed the red carpet wasn’t for us but my thanks to the kitchen for serving promptly.
The hospitality we received from Sue and Jamie in the Pro shop was first class and the clubhouse team were equally attentive.
As you know we have been playing Ombersley since its opening and never tire of the splendid location and ever improving facilities.
Please also pass on my thanks to the members we came into contact with both in the clubhouse and out on the course who also extended a friendly hello and extended great patience with our slower back markers..
We will all look forward very much to our next visit. But also a few of our new younger members has promised to return more regularly for more of the same.
Matt Mason Tesimonial Golf Day November 2012
Apologies for the time it has taken me to write this note, but time has been very precious since our golf day with you.
I just wanted to thank you and your team for what ended up being a brilliant golf day for Matt. It was incredible that we were on in the first place. Having had the deluge of rain in the previous 2 days, I would imagine there weren't too many courses in the country open on the day of the event.
Well, it was open, and it played remarkably. Our teams were amazed with how well it played. I can't wait now to play it when we have had some decent weather. The greens were excellent and the fairways lush. Your staff were friendly and accommodating throughout the day. The food was great and your members were very welcoming. I will have no hesitation in recommending you to others for corporate or charity golf days, top class from start of the organisation with yourself, to the end product on the day.

A note to thank you and all your staff so much for looking after us so well last Thursday.
We had a very enjoyable round on a lovely course, and were extremely lucky with the weather with only one shower at the end of our round.

We are writing to express our thanks for the way in which you organised the evening for the Severnside Ramblers on Friday Sepptember 28th. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal and the responses from the members we spoke to were extremely positive. It was pleasing to be able to offer our members a varied menu which was subsequently served politely and efficiently.

I’m writing on behalf of the Boldmere Ladies Golf Club to thank you very much for arranging our away day at Ombersley on Thursday.
I didn’t see you afterwards to say how much we had enjoyed the day and I don’t think the staff were within earshot when I praised them in my few words after the meal.
We enjoyed the course, the meal was excellent (our compliments to the chefs!) and we were looked after with wonderful attention by all the staff – what more could we have wanted?
We all enjoyed a very happy day and all the ladies were most appreciative. Many thanks.

I must write and thank you and your colleagues at Ombersley Golf Club for the wonderful society day held on 14th September. All the members of the society and their guests thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the day from the time of arrival to their departure.
Special thanks must go to you for your help and advice in organising the day, but mention must also be made of the catering staff that did so much to make the day so worthwhile.
Comments were made about the condition of the course so we must not leave out the ground staff for the efforts they made to present the course in tip-top condition.
I have been asked whether the society can come back to Ombersley at a later date as everyone enjoyed it so much Once again, many thanks for your help.

Just a quick not to say thank you for all your help and assistance when we were at the golf club on Saturday last.
On behalf of all my friends I can say without reservation that we thoroughly enjoyed the day; both on the course and the excellent meal afterwards. This was due in no small way to the welcome you extended us and the friendly way in which were treated.
I know that I have become used to such first class treatment as a gold member, but all my friends, some of whom had never been to Ombersley before, were very impressed. Between us we have played golf all over the world and, without exaggerating, many said that Saturday was right up there among the best for them. A most enjoyable day all round!
