New Mixed Friendly Golf Evening enjoys major success!! The first mixed golf night enjoyed great success on Tuesday 20th July. Twenty four golfers of mixed age (13 to 80+), ability (0 to 36 handicaps) and sex (boys, girls, ladies & gentlemen) ventured into “mixed weather” to take on the front nine holes. The friendly better ball event found three groups tied on a creditable 23 points. Eventual winners being Helene & Stuart Beardsall by last hole count back, closely followed by Gemma & Ryan Glenister. Some small but worthy prizes were awarded to the winners and runners up whilst everyone enjoyed a fabulous mixture of curries provided by Rob Issacs and his team. The sheet is up on the notice board for the next mixed night which takes place on Tuesday 24th August from 5p.m. onwards. You can enter as a pair, or simply put your name down to be paired up.
